The whole project was entirely developed by us; inspections, measurements, graphic design; at "4mani" with the museum representatives, we have identified in the image "the tree of life", which represents the family, the perfect "scenography" to host, in an inclusive way, the new born to the museum!
Corner Baby Pit Stop | Treviso museums
The Baby Pit Stop project was born as an initiative of the Municipality of Treviso on a proposal from Unicef, to facilitate new mothers and families with small children, to use the museums easily and safely, every day, even perhaps during a pleasant walk for Treviso.
Well, you should know that when a few months ago we received the call from the person in charge of the City Museums, who asked for advice in order to create a corner that would allow new mothers to change their babies in a safe and organized place, the first thought was:
"Finally a concrete request after months of sailing on sight" (due to Pandemic) ...
Then, during the phone call, as we really understood the intent, the idea developed in us that that, despite the "periodaccio", would be an opportunity to show the City of Treviso all our gratitude.
The initiative had the patronage of UNICEF removed all doubts and convinced us that this would be the best opportunity to show our gratitude to the city!
Thus was born the idea of creating these corners consisting of self-supporting structural panels and embellished with Roland UV direct printing!
In these days for us, the ANNIVERSARY OF THE 60 YEARS OF ACTIVITY, donating these two corners to the Civic Museums is our way of saying THANK YOU to the City of Treviso (customers of: companies, associations, Museums and Citizens All), for having used over the years of our advertising services!
With this gesture it is our will to give back some of that immense trust that you have placed in us for 60 years!
The whole project was entirely developed by us; inspections, measurements, graphic design; at "4mani" with the museum representatives, we then identified in the image "the tree of life", which represents the family, the perfect "scenography" to host, in an inclusive way, the new born to the museum!
The corners have been conceived, designed, positioned and organized to make the most of the small spaces available in a museum full of unique works!
Everything has been thought out down to the smallest detail, from the choice of position, choice of colors, up to the creation of practical internal functional shelves to place diapers!
How about? Beautiful, is not it?
Given the difference in the space used for the two museums, two tailor-made solutions were created. For the Santa Caterina museum the structure outlined a corner booth, for safety and stability the panels were fixed to the floor and to the existing wall. At the Bailo museum, instead, the Pit Stop area was created by obtaining useful space in the corridor, ensuring privacy, using a fifth wall. Both spaces were then completed by the Municipality with everything needed to take care of their children.
This initiative allows you to be marked on the map as a Baby Pit Stop point (visibility)
If you are planning to create or want to actively participate in making your city suitable for even new families, we at Microstudio can help you create a space equipped for breastfeeding and diaper change.
